2016年に上演された『THE GAME OF POLYAMORY LIFE』を、10年の時を経て、再演いたします。血縁だけで形づくられる「家族」や、異性愛を前提とした「恋愛」のあり方が揺らぎつつある現在。本作は、複数の人と「誠実な恋愛関係」を築くポリアモリーという関係性を手がかりに、人と人が対話を重ねながら複雑な関係を築いていく様を描きます。欲望や背景、価値観の違いを言葉にし、「わかり合えない」ことを前提に、時間をかけて共有していくこと。そのプロセスの中に、もしかするとこれからの社会の希望があるかもしれません。

稲葉賀恵 演出家。文学座所属。日本大学藝術学部映画学科卒。2008年『十字軍』にて文学座初演出。主な演出作品に、『果てしない部屋』『Show me a code』『Downstate』『狂人なおもて往生をとぐ』musical『Once』『リンスリピート』『オレアナ』『リタの教育』『ブレイキング・ザ・コード』『幽霊はここにいる』『加担者』『墓場なき死者』など。2023年、『加担者』『幽霊はここにいる』の演出で第30回読売演劇大賞優秀演出家賞受賞。2025年、『オレアナ』『リタの教育』『Downstate』の演出で第33回読売演劇大賞最優秀演出家賞受賞。
豊田エリー マームとジプシー、イキウメ、劇団た組などの人気劇団や、シス・カンパニー主催作品などの舞台を中心に活躍。2024年には『ハリー・ポッターと呪いの子』でハーマイオニー・グレンジャー役を一年間演じた。近年の主な舞台出演作に、『誰かひとり／回復する人間』（西本由香演出）、演劇ユニット・ポウジュ『Downstate』（稲葉賀恵演出）、『近松心中物語』（堀越涼（あやめ十八番）演出）、『いつぞやは』『ザ・ウェルキン』『ぽに』（以上、加藤拓也演出）、『A la marge-外の道-』『天の敵』『外の道』（以上、前川知大演出）、『Light house』（藤田貴大演出）など。

On Saturday, December 13, at 3:00 PM, we will present a reading performance aimed at providing a platform for younger generations to share their creative work.
This piece was created within a university class led by Onoma, as part of a student group project. Although it was completed without any scheduled presentation, the students expressed a strong desire to perform it publicly. In response, we will host a reading performance at ZOU-NO-HANA Terrace during the daytime. Admission is free, and no reservation is required. The venue can accommodate around 30 people, so please feel free to drop by and enjoy the performance.

My “neighbors” are Japanese. They were born to Japanese parents and raised in Japan. They are Japanese with no roots overseas. These are the people who live beside me. I often struggle to find the right words to talk about “them.” They’re good people. Some of them are close friends of mine. And yet, perhaps because there are simply so many of them in this country, I sometimes feel a subtle difficulty in speaking freely. I sense an unspoken atmosphere that makes it hard for me to say: “My parents were not originally Japanese.” So I observe them. I observe where and how this atmosphere is being cultivated. At what point, I wonder, did they decide that I am “one of them”? Shukou’s latest production is a new theatrical work that aims to bring the idea of “Japanese identity” into focus through the everyday lives of Japanese-speaking people living in Japan. Drawing on the personal documentary of Onoma, who has roots in Taiwan. The performance creates space to reflect on the question: What does it mean to be Japanese?
